A Labor Doula acts as a constant support for the birthing family before, during and just after the birth of their baby. As a Doula, I will be your advocate, your massage therapist, and your emotional support as you embark on the amazing journey from pregnancy to motherhood.

Birth Plan Preparation Service

Not sure if you want to hire a doula, but still want the benefit of birth plan preparation?

I will take you through the step by step process of birth.

I will give you the right questions to ask your care provider.

I will share with you my experience of close to 100 births.

You will feel prepared and ready to navigate your best possible birth experience.

This is a wonderful accompaniment to your regular Childbirth Education Class.

This service includes:

When to go to the hospital

What to expect during early, active labor and the pushing stage

What to expect at your place of birth

How to advocate for yourself

Breastfeeding support

Phone contact while you are in labor, at the hospital and immediate postpartum phone support

Cost $250

My Doula service includes:

At least one prenatal visit with you and your partner, but probably more like three, during those meetings I will help you develop a birth plan we will address your changing body with massage, exercise, and stretching, and most of all prepare you for your labor by giving you constant emotional support.
You will receive one prenatal, or postnatal massage.
To encourage you to get regular massage I offer $75 massages for all Doula clients and their families.
I will be ON CALL for two weeks before your due date and until your birth.
When the time comes, as you transition from early to active labor I will accompany you to the hospital, birth center or settle in for home birth until you are ready and able to be on your own.
Your birth, to two hours after delivery or until you are settled.
Immediate nursing support.
At least one post natal meeting.
Unlimited phone contact.

All births are priced at $2,500 for the above service. Sliding scale is available upon request.

A deposit of $500 is due when we decide to work together.
The remainder of the fee is due within two weeks after the birth of your baby.
